DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an inspiring and participatory DMK Panchayat Sabha meeting under the theme "Going to the People and Winning Their Hearts" at Pallapatti village panchayat in Nilakkottai assembly constituency of Dindigul district. Stalin engaged in direct, frank conversations with local villagers, smallholder cultivators, flower farmers, and rural women, gathering detailed feedback on acute administrative failure and stalled developmental projects.

Villagers in Pallapatti highlighted persistent drinking water scarcity, contaminated groundwater tables, and the lack of maintenance for local irrigation tanks that had left farmland parched. Flower cultivators, who form a major part of the regional economy, expressed distress over the absence of cold storage facilities and a perfume manufacturing unit, leaving them vulnerable to market price crashes. In addition, residents pointed out that roads connecting rural habitations to main highways were riddled with potholes, while local schools lacked basic sanitation. Stalin stated that the prolonged suspension of local body elections by the AIADMK regime had paralyzed village governance and silenced rural voices.

Stalin pledged that an incoming DMK government will address drinking water needs, develop cold storage infrastructure for flower cultivators, and revitalize rural schools across the constituency.
