DMK president M.K. Stalin delivered the keynote address at the "Arundhathiyar Political Resurgence Conference" organized by the Aathi Thamizhar Peravai under the leadership of Athiyamaan in Salem. Reaffirming the historic organic unity between the Dravidian movement and oppressed communities, Stalin emphasized that true social justice is incomplete until the most marginalized sections of the working class attain full educational, political, and economic liberation.

Stalin recalled the visionary contributions of Dravidian icons Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna, and Muthamizharignar Kalaignar in fighting caste supremacy and upholding human dignity. He highlighted that when the DMK enacted the three percent internal reservation for Arundhathiyars, several reactionary forces attempted to sabotage the progressive legislation, but the DMK defended the quota with unwavering ideological steadfastness. Stalin expressed severe indignation over the continuing dehumanizing practice of manual scavenging under the AIADMK administration, pointing out that sanitation workers continued to die in sewer manholes due to criminal negligence and failure to deploy mechanized cleaning technology.

Stalin resolved that the DMK government will eliminate manual scavenging through total mechanization, provide dignified rehabilitation, and secure land ownership for all Arundhathiyars.
