DMK president and Kolathur Member of Legislative Assembly M.K. Stalin visited his home constituency in Chennai, laying foundation stones for multiple civic development projects and initiating construction works based on petitions received from local residents. Stalin affirmed his commitment to continuous infrastructure improvement within the constituency, ensuring prompt action on community requests despite sitting on the legislative opposition benches.

The newly launched initiatives focused on enhancing civic amenities, public utility infrastructure, neighborhood sanitation, and local road accessibility for area residents. Alongside inaugurating these public works, Stalin participated in a comprehensive welfare distribution program. He handed over educational supplies and scholarships to school and college students, financial and livelihood aids to women beneficiaries, and assistive aids to differently-abled persons to facilitate independent mobility and dignified living across the assembly segment.

Stalin interacted with residents and constituency workers, reviewing the status of civic maintenance and public service delivery across various wards.
