DMK president M.K. Stalin attended the panchayat sabha conference and polling booth agents review meeting held at Seevur village in the Gudiyatham assembly constituency of Vellore district. Interacting with local citizens and party functionaries, Stalin addressed the acute administrative paralysis that had enveloped the constituency following the disqualification of its elected representative.

Stalin pointed out that Gudiyatham had been left entirely without a Member of Legislative Assembly for more than a year due to political factionalism and judicial delays orchestrated by the ruling AIADMK administration. Consequently, constituency development funds remained unallocated, public infrastructure projects were abandoned, and local residents had no institutional voice to raise urgent civic grievances in the legislative assembly. Stalin highlighted that vital community requirements, such as hospital upgrades, road repairs, and water distribution, were suffering total neglect while the state government avoided holding timely by-elections out of fear of defeat.

Stalin declared that the DMK was preparing its booth-level machinery to secure a decisive victory whenever elections were called. He promised the people of Gudiyatham that the party would restore proactive legislative representation and resolve pending local issues.
