DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive and interactive panchayat sabha meeting at Chinnadharapuram village in Karur district, drawing thousands of enthusiastic rural residents, agrarian laborers, and local women. The gathering provided a platform for community members to openly discuss their daily hardships under the current state and central administrations.

Addressing the assembled public, Stalin declared that the Chinnadharapuram meeting represented a resolute step toward putting a definitive end to the anti-people policies pursued by the AIADMK state government and the BJP-led central administration. He detailed how agrarian families in the region were reeling under severe agricultural distress, aggravated by erratic monsoon patterns, soaring diesel and fertilizer costs, and absent government procurement mechanisms. Stalin pointed out that while the state government claimed to support rural growth, it had completely paralyzed grassroots administration by refusing to conduct constitutional panchayat elections.

Stalin assured the villagers that the DMK was actively documenting all village grievances to construct an inclusive and people-centric governance agenda. He urged the community to participate vigorously in the democratic process to restore accountable leadership and rebuild rural livelihoods across Tamil Nadu.
