DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a searing critique of the state administration while addressing a massive turnout at the DMK Panchayat Sabha meeting in Manapparai. Drawing upon his five decades of dedicated public service and legislative experience, Stalin observed that he had closely witnessed the leadership styles of numerous legendary Chief Ministers across different political eras. However, he noted that the current governance under Edappadi Palaniswami stood out as the most thoroughly paralyzed and incompetent administration in Tamil Nadu's modern political history.
Stalin highlighted how every key government department had ground to a complete standstill, failing miserably to meet the everyday needs of common citizens. From crippled rural local bodies and mismanaged public transport corporations to severe distress across agricultural belts, administrative inertia had crippled development. He pointed out that rather than functioning as an independent, accountable leader answerable to the electorate, the Chief Minister had subordinated the interests of the state to central political masters merely to preserve his tenure. Essential welfare benefits remained unpaid, and public grievances went entirely unaddressed.
Stalin concluded by asserting that the people of Tamil Nadu were resolutely preparing to replace this dysfunctional regime with responsive democratic leadership.
