DMK president M.K. He criticized the state government for acting as a docile proxy of the central ruling party, compromising the rights of Tamil Nadu on crucial issues ranging from river water sharing to fair financial allocations. Stalin emphasized that the statewide Panchayat Sabha movement was mobilizing millions of rural citizens to reclaim their constitutional rights and reject the politics of betrayal.
