DMK president M.K. Stalin addressed an energized and crowded DMK Panchayat Sabha gathering at Thiruvarur, declaring that the collective political consciousness of the people of Tamil Nadu had reached a decisive juncture to overthrow the corrupt AIADMK and autocratic central BJP regimes. Addressing farmers, weavers, youth, and women, Stalin emphasized that rural communities had borne the brunt of administrative mismanagement, severe agrarian distress, and bureaucratic neglect over the past eight years.

Stalin pointed out that Tamil Nadu was pushed into severe socioeconomic decline because the state administration had completely compromised its autonomy before the central BJP leadership. In Thiruvarur, the political birthplace of Muthamizharignar Kalaignar Karunanidhi, farmers were struggling without fair crop prices, tail-end irrigation water, or adequate relief following natural disasters like Cyclone Gaja. Stalin noted that while rural livelihoods collapsed, state ministers were solely interested in personal corruption and factional survival. He declared that the time had come to draw a firm line against this anti-people regime across rural Tamil Nadu.

Stalin urged the people of Thiruvarur to unite behind the secular progressive alliance to install an accountable, welfare-oriented DMK administration.
