DMK president M.K. Stalin launched a biting attack against the ruling AIADMK government led by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami, noting that the administration had suffered two monumental humiliations in a single day, exposing its utter moral bankruptcy and administrative rot. Stalin highlighted that while a Special Court convicted Sports Minister P. Balakrishna Reddy in a criminal riot case and sentenced him to three years of rigorous imprisonment, the Madras High Court simultaneously issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against the state Higher Education Secretary for contempt of court.

Stalin observed that having a sitting cabinet minister convicted of criminal offenses and an administrative department head facing arrest warrants demonstrated that the rule of law had completely disintegrated in Tamil Nadu. He remarked that the Palaniswami regime had established an infamous reputation not for governance or public welfare, but exclusively as a protective umbrella shielding corrupt politicians, compromised bureaucrats, and criminal conspirators. Stalin pointed out that despite such grave judicial indictments, the Chief Minister remained shamelessly silent without enforcing ministerial accountability or constitutional propriety.

Stalin asserted that the people of Tamil Nadu will soon deliver a severe democratic verdict against this ethically bankrupt administration.
