DMK president M.K. Stalin formally announced the comprehensive itinerary for the party's historic grassroots campaign, confirming that DMK leaders, speakers, and functionaries would conduct intensive Panchayat Sabha meetings across all 12,617 village panchayats in Tamil Nadu starting from January 3. Stalin described this massive decentralized initiative as a decisive ideological and political mobilization aimed at putting a permanent full stop to the fascist central BJP government and its subservient state AIADMK regime.
Stalin explained that headquarters representatives, senior parliamentarians, former ministers, and seasoned district organizers would fan out across every corner of the state, engaging directly with villagers in open-air forums. The campaign aimed to highlight how the unholy alliance of central autocracy and state corruption had devastated Tamil Nadu's agrarian economy, destroyed rural civic infrastructure, denied local body elections, and surrendered state autonomy. Stalin emphasized that rather than organizing conventional stage rallies, the DMK was going directly to village squares to listen to citizens' real grievances and formulate responsive people-centric policies.
Stalin called upon party workers to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to making every single panchayat meeting a resounding democratic success.
