DMK president M.K. Stalin issued an urgent directive calling upon party district secretaries, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and regional office-bearers across Tamil Nadu to mobilize essential relief supplies and dispatch them immediately to Trichy Kalaignar Arivalayam. Stalin designated the party's Trichy headquarters as the centralized collection and distribution hub to coordinate humanitarian assistance efficiently for eight districts devastated by Cyclone Gaja.

Stalin emphasized that the scale of destruction across the Cauvery delta and coastal districts required rapid, large-scale supply chains to meet urgent survival needs. With hundreds of villages isolated and administrative machinery struggling to cope, party units in unaffected districts were instructed to gather drinking water cans, rice, dry provisions, tarpaulins, clothes, blankets, and emergency medical kits on an emergency basis. Trichy's central geographic location allowed organized sorting and prompt onward transit to interior villages in Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, and Pudukkottai.

Stalin reiterated that mitigating the suffering of affected communities must remain the topmost priority for every party cadre. He urged functionaries to act swiftly to ensure uninterrupted humanitarian aid reaches vulnerable rural families.
