DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound anguish and outrage following the heinous sexual assault and tragic murder of a seventeen-year-old girl in Dharmapuri district. Stalin lamented the horrifying moral depravity reflected in such monstrous violence against vulnerable young women, characterizing the incident as an excruciating indictment of deteriorating public safety and law enforcement under the ruling AIADMK administration in Tamil Nadu.
Stalin observed that women and young girls across the state were increasingly exposed to sexual predation due to lax policing, delayed investigations, and political indifference toward rising crime rates. Citing classic poetic wisdom warning that inhuman atrocities proliferate when governance falls into corrupt and unprincipled hands, Stalin asserted that the current regime had failed fundamentally in its primary constitutional obligation to protect female citizens from predatory violence.
Stalin demanded that the police department act with utmost urgency to apprehend all criminals involved in the brutal crime without showing leniency. He insisted that the state administration constitute a specialized investigation team, ensure stringent prosecution under non-bailable statutory provisions, and provide immediate financial and psychological support to the devastated victim's family.
