DMK president M.K. Stalin fully endorsed the statement made by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declaring that building a broad democratic alliance of regional parties is an urgent democratic compulsion to protect the nation. Stalin emphasized that the relentless encroachment upon state autonomy by the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government required state parties across India to unite on a cohesive federalist platform.

Stalin pointed out that regional political formations carry the unique constitutional mandate of representing local linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic aspirations. Over the past four years, the central administration had steadily bypassed state legislatures, imposed centralized fiscal mandates, and misused constitutional offices to stifle regional governance. He noted that allowing this centralization to proceed unchecked would effectively reduce India's multi-tier federal republic to an authoritarian unitary regime.

Stalin called upon all regional leaderships to set aside local rivalries and forge a concerted coalition against the central government. He affirmed that the DMK has historically stood as the vanguard of state autonomy and will actively mobilize regional political forces to safeguard constitutional federalism and decentralize administrative authority. He emphasized that collaborative regional unity remains the ultimate guarantee of Indian democracy.
