DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed warm appreciation for the high-level consultative meeting between Congress president Rahul Gandhi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in New Delhi. Stalin characterized their collaborative engagement as a significant and encouraging breakthrough for democratic politics in India. He particularly commended Rahul Gandhi's assertion that all opposition parties must synchronize their efforts and work collaboratively to unseat the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government.

Stalin observed that India's constitutional governance and parliamentary traditions had suffered severe systemic damage under central rule. To restore institutional independence, safeguard minority protections, and reverse anti-people economic policies, it is imperative that secular democratic formations coalesce around a unified minimum common agenda.
