#Dengue #SwineFlu
DMK president M.K. Stalin directed the party's medical wing to organize free health screening camps and public awareness campaigns across Tamil Nadu to combat spreading seasonal fevers, dengue, and swine flu. Expressing deep anguish over preventable fatalities, Stalin stated that the loss of innocent civilian lives due to state healthcare negligence was completely unacceptable. He observed that official apathy left communities vulnerable to vector-borne and viral infections.
Stalin criticized the state administration for inadequate sanitation, delayed fogging operations, and insufficient medicine supplies in government hospitals. With public facilities overwhelmed and administrative measures falling short, he urged DMK physicians and healthcare volunteers not to wait for sluggish government initiatives. Instead, he asked them to reach vulnerable localities immediately, conduct diagnostic check-ups, and distribute preventive medications to affected families without delay.
Stalin stressed the need for comprehensive door-to-door awareness programs educating citizens on hygiene practices, clean water storage, and early fever detection. He affirmed that the DMK remains committed to standing beside the public in times of health crises, mobilizing organizational resources to protect community welfare and prevent further preventable casualties across Tamil Nadu.
