DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted on-site inspections of special voter registration camps organized across various legislative assembly constituencies in Chennai. Stalin visited designated polling centers, observed the enrollment procedures underway for new voters, and interacted with election staff, booth-level agents, and citizens submitting applications for inclusion in the electoral roll. He emphasized that maintaining an accurate, transparent, and comprehensive voter list is the bedrock of free and fair democratic elections.
Following his inspections, Stalin issued a clarion call to DMK cadre, booth agents, and grassroots organizers across Tamil Nadu. He instructed them to devote their complete attention to assisting eligible citizens—especially young voters turning eighteen and marginalized residents—in enrolling their names during the special camps. He also urged workers to participate actively in ongoing village panchayat sabha meetings to mobilize public awareness and address local civic concerns.
Stalin stressed that proactive grassroots engagement during electoral roll revisions ensures that no eligible citizen is disenfranchised due to bureaucratic negligence. He called upon party workers to maintain vigilant scrutiny against fraudulent deletions or wrongful additions, ensuring the sanctity and integrity of the democratic electoral roll across the state.
