DMK president M.K. Stalin challenged Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami to present a factual status report regarding the 98 memorandums of understanding signed during the state's first Global Investors Meet. He noted that before organizing another expensive summit for election publicity, the administration must inform citizens how many agreed industrial projects had actually commenced commercial operations and delivered tangible manufacturing output on the ground.

Stalin emphasized that over one crore educated young people in Tamil Nadu remained unemployed due to an acute shortage of quality industrial opportunities and stalled industrial investments across diverse districts. He criticized the government for failing to formulate an effective employment roadmap while repeatedly making inflated claims about incoming industrial capital, new factories, and economic expansion across the state.

Stalin urged the state government to prioritize transparent job creation and sustainable industrial development over superficial public relations spectacles. He asserted that true administrative success lies in delivering verifiable factories, skilled manufacturing jobs, and stable livelihoods to Tamil Nadu's youth rather than organizing ceremonial conventions that yield negligible ground-level progress for the state workforce, jobseekers, and local entrepreneurs.
