DMK president M.K. Stalin mocked the ruling AIADMK for organizing street protests against the opposition DMK, describing it as an unprecedented historical anomaly driven by acute political insecurity and administrative guilt. He observed that governments facing impending electoral defeat often resort to theatrical agitations against opposition parties to distract the electorate from widespread corruption, institutional failure, and economic stagnation throughout the state.
Stalin challenged the AIADMK leadership to prove even a single corruption allegation against the DMK in a court of law instead of staging public demonstrations funded by political patronage. He asserted that during its tenure in governance, the DMK had faced judicial scrutiny transparently and emerged exonerated, whereas ruling ministers were now constantly knocking on judicial doors to stall active corruption inquiries.
Stalin declared that the DMK would never be intimidated by orchestrated protests or baseless allegations orchestrated by an administration trapped in internal discord. He invited the ruling party to file legal charges if they possessed genuine evidence, expressing complete confidence that people across Tamil Nadu recognize political deception, diversionary tactics, administrative incompetence, fiscal irresponsibility, and corrupt governance.
