DMK president M.K. Stalin responded firmly to allegations made by Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami, who accused the opposition leader of regularly disseminating falsehoods against the ruling administration. Stalin observed that such baseless accusations came from a leader sitting atop stockpiles of illicit wealth amassed through administrative malpractice, departmental commissions, and dubious contract allocations across key state departments over several consecutive years.
Stalin stated that Palaniswami's anxious public outbursts stemmed directly from the illegitimate manner of his political elevation. Having gained control of the party organization and government through backdoor arrangements rather than a direct democratic mandate, the Chief Minister now found himself entangled in serious corruption cases before high constitutional courts.
Stalin asserted that the DMK's consistent public exposures had deeply unsettled the ruling regime, exposing profound administrative vulnerabilities, systematic kickbacks, and financial improprieties to the discerning public. He declared that no amount of hostile rhetoric could shield the AIADMK leadership from an impending legal reckoning, assuring the people that the DMK would continue to champion transparent governance, civic justice, constitutional integrity, and democratic accountability across the entire state.
