DMK president M.K. Stalin urged the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development to take stern punitive action against the Central Board of Secondary Education chairperson for jeopardizing the future of medical aspirants from Tamil Nadu. Stalin highlighted that the national testing body had caused unprecedented trauma to Tamil students by arbitrarily assigning examination centers thousands of kilometers away in distant states such as Kerala and Rajasthan, forcing poor families to endure exhausting, stressful journeys on short notice.
Stalin pointed out that the examination itself was marred by catastrophic blunders, including dozens of misleading and erroneous Tamil question translations that unfairly penalized students studying in their mother tongue. Instead of demonstrating administrative accountability and empathy toward aspiring youth, the testing authorities adopted an arrogant posture, refusing to acknowledge systematic operational negligence.
Stalin stressed that central administrative callousness had inflicted severe psychological distress on vulnerable students and eroded public trust in educational governance across the country. He demanded immediate structural accountability, reiterating the DMK firm commitment to shielding Tamil Nadu youth from discriminatory centralized testing regimens and ensuring fair educational opportunities for all.
