DMK president M.K. Stalin expressed profound anguish following the Supreme Court judgment overturning the Madras High Court order that had granted grace marks to students who took the NEET examination in Tamil. The Madras High Court had previously awarded 196 grace marks to compensate for forty-nine glaring translation errors committed by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Stalin stated that the apex court's ruling delivered a crushing blow to thousands of hardworking rural students who were unfairly penalized for choosing their native tongue.

Stalin asserted that the entire culpability rested squarely with the CBSE, which committed unpardonable translation errors and then aggressively litigated against student relief in the highest court. Blaming students while shielding bureaucratic negligence represented the pinnacle of institutional arrogance and insensitivity toward non-Hindi applicants.

Stalin emphasized that the legal setback highlighted why centralized entrance testing is fundamentally incompatible with federal diversity and social justice. He reiterated the DMK unwavering commitment to fighting both politically and legislatively for total exemption from NEET, assuring Tamil Nadu youth that the party will tirelessly defend their educational rights and constitutional dignity.
