DMK leader M.K. Stalin expressed boundless grief and sorrow following reports that twenty-one party cadres across Tamil Nadu had lost their lives due to immense shock and heart attacks caused by news of leader Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi's critical illness. Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Stalin made an earnest, pleading appeal to millions of emotional party supporters, urging them never to resort to extreme measures or compromise their precious lives during this trying period.
Stalin emphasized that the intense affection, loyalty, and dedication displayed by grassroots cadres formed the lifeblood of the Dravidian movement. However, losing beloved party workers caused unbearable heartbreak to the leadership. He stressed that Karunanidhi had always taught cadres to face adversity with courage, resilience, and optimism rather than despair. Preserving one's life and continuing the ideological battle for social justice is the greatest homage any follower can offer to their venerable leader.
Stalin implored party members to remain calm, maintain steadfast faith in medical care, and support their families and communities responsibly. He reaffirmed his personal solidarity with every cadre household, pledging unwavering support to the grieving families.
