DMK leader M.K. Stalin termed the AIADMK administration's support for the BJP government during the parliamentary no-confidence motion as an unforgivable betrayal of Tamil Nadu. Stalin stated that Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had acted purely out of self-preservation and political cowardice. Terrified that ongoing Income Tax searches on his proxy contractors and family relatives would uncover undeniable evidence of massive embezzlement, the Chief Minister sacrificed the state's collective interests to secure federal protection.

Stalin pointed out that extensive tax raids on close associates of the Chief Minister had unearthed hundreds of crores in unaccounted cash and precious metals, confirming widespread corruption in highway contracts. Rather than facing legal scrutiny with integrity, Palaniswami surrendered the legislative strength of the state's parliamentary delegation to bail out the central ruling party. By doing so, the state leadership completely ignored burning public issues, including NEET exemptions, Cauvery rights, and federal financial devolution.

Stalin declared that trading away state rights to shield personal corruption marks the lowest depth of political opportunism. He reaffirmed that the DMK will persistently expose this unprincipled nexus and fight tirelessly to restore administrative dignity in Tamil Nadu.
