#NoConfidenceMotion
DMK leader M.K. Stalin called upon the AIADMK leadership to instruct all its members in the Lok Sabha to vote in favor of the opposition-sponsored no-confidence motion against the BJP-led Union government. Stalin emphasized that the central ruling dispensation had systematically insulted the collective sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu, discarded unanimous resolutions passed by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, and aggressively usurped the state's constitutional prerogatives across multiple governance spheres.
Stalin pointed out that the Union government had consistently neglected Tamil Nadu on crucial issues, including establishing the Cauvery Management Board, granting exemption from NEET, providing adequate disaster relief, and safeguarding the rights of backward communities. By turning a deaf ear to legislative resolutions unanimously adopted by all parties in the state assembly, the central regime had displayed open disdain for regional democratic processes. Supporting the no-confidence motion was a fundamental moral and constitutional test for the state's elected parliamentarians.
Stalin warned that voting to prop up the BJP government would constitute a historic betrayal of the Tamil people. He urged AIADMK MPs to place regional dignity above political subservience and hold central rulers accountable in Parliament.
