Four years of Falsehoods!
Promises made: Recovering Blackmoney,10 crore jobs, doubling farmers income, economic development,LokPal.
Delivered:Fuel price hike, Demonetization,Communal politics, Anti-federal policies.
Appeal to all parties to support the No-Confidence Motion.
DMK leader M.K. Stalin issued a comprehensive critique of the four-year tenure of the Narendra Modi-led Union government, characterizing its administration as an era of unfulfilled promises and misleading claims. Listing key electoral commitments made to the nation, Stalin highlighted that pledges to recover illicit black money, generate ten crore jobs, double farmers' incomes, achieve robust economic growth, and establish an effective Lokpal had all been completely abandoned. In an impassioned appeal, he urged all political parties to support the parliamentary no-confidence motion.
Stalin contrasted these grandiose electoral promises with the harsh ground realities delivered to ordinary citizens, including punishing fuel price hikes, the devastating disruptions of demonetization, escalating communal polarization, and aggressively anti-federal policies. Small businesses had collapsed under poorly executed tax reforms, agricultural distress had deepened, and regional autonomy had been severely curtailed. He noted that the central dispensation had prioritized ideological centralization over genuine public welfare and economic stability.
Stalin affirmed that the no-confidence motion represented a crucial democratic opportunity to demand institutional accountability from the central executive. He called for nationwide political solidarity to defend federal democracy, revive economic livelihoods, and uphold secular unity.
